Info: We invite rye lovers, beer aficionados, and those curious about the world of craft beer, to The Taproom At 642 Rogers Ave on October 19th, from 6:00-10:00 PM, guests will have the opportunity to tour the brewery and meet the makers of Island to Island Brewery, Wartega brewery and Van Brunt Stillhouse while enjoying our collaboration brew Ryes & Shine paired with Stillhouse White Rye.
This moonshine ale pairing is a smooth Rye Pale Ale brewed with New York State Rye and Cascade hops. It’s dry-hopped with El Dorado to give it tropical notes on the nose and juicy flavor.
Wartega wanted to brew this beer with Island to Island because our visions for beer in New York and brewing philosophies align. Having collaborated on several beers, we’ve blended cultural ingredients and modern methods to create craft beers with provenance and bold flavor bound by rich history.
We were excited for the opportunity to celebrate rye as an ingredient that has impacted fermentations worldwide and has been carefully cultivated here in NYS by our local farmers.
